Royal Burgh of Stirling Pipe Band

The Royal Burgh of Stirling Pipe Band was established in 1977 and the band’s key focus is the commitment to young talent and promotion of piping in the Stirling area.

The band had a highly successful year in 2014 with both the 3A & 4B bands performing very well.  The 3A band drum corps won the Champion of Champions for this grade and the band finished 2nd in the band Champion of Champions table, this resulted in the band being upgraded by the RSPBA, they will now be competing in G2.  The 4B band finished 3rd at the World Pipe Band Championships and 3rd at the United Kingdom Championships in Belfast, they finished 5th in the Champion of Champions table.  A number of Piper's and Drummers have joined both bands since the last competition of the year.  We now look forward to what we hope will be another very successful year for the band!
