Jimmy O'Neil
The Royal Burgh of Stirling Pipe Band is saddened by the news of the sudden death of Jimmy O’Neil and our thoughts are with his family at this time.
Jimmy died on Monday 10th November in Stirling Royal Infirmary and all members are in shock and disbelief.
Jimmy has been a member of the band for some time and has been key in getting the band where it is today. Jimmy has taught many youngsters throughout the years and was also secretary for the band. Jimmy was a well liked and respected member not only in our band but throughout the Stirlingshire branch and wider pipe band community.
The funeral for Jimmy will be held on Friday 14th November in Alloa.
